Since most of the country had declared a lockdown movement and cancelled all international & domestic flights had a major impact on E-Commerce sites to SHIP THEIR PRODUCTS locally. And the government was very serious about confining the people to stay at home. And most of the E-commerce sites supporting the government initiatives they have voluntarily stopped their services for the complete lockdown movement.
Amazon stops taking new orders, Flipkart suspends services amid coronavirus lockdown
Flipkart and Amazon India have temporarily suspended operations after the Centre announced complete lockdown for 21 days
Amazon India has said they have stopped taking any new orders and are prioritising supplying customers with essential goods .The company added, This also means that we have to temporarily stop taking orders and disable shipments for lower-priority products.
Flipkart has also made a similar announcement and said they are suspending all services for the time being as the country goes under lockdown for at least 3 weeks. Flipkart, whose services include grocery deliveries, did not say how long the suspension would last.
