AMD Ryzen Twitter account has officially stated that AMD is holding an event on 8 October, to unveil its Zen 3 desktop CPUs.

The Zen 3 architecture will be based on a 7nm+ process, which offers 20 percent more density, and 10 percent power reduction compared to Zen 2. AMD will continue to use its AM4 processor socket through its next generation of Zen 3 processors.

@AMD Radeon also announced that they will unveil the RDNA 2 Architecture Radeon RX 6000 Series graphics cards on 28 October 2020

AMD’s RDNA 2 chips will deliver a massive 50 percent improvement in performance-per-watt over first-gen “Navi” RDNA GPUs.Microsoft’s next-gen console is powered by an AMD chip that blends Ryzen CPU cores with Radeon GPU cores built using the company’s new RDNA 2 graphics architecture.

The new card will be the competitor to NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card, but recent rumors have suggested Big Navi will bring with it 16GB of VRAM — compared to the 10GB offered on the RTX 3080.

And since there’s an RDNA 2 GPU inside that Xbox Series X. RX6000 will offer real-time ray tracing and support for cool rendering technologies like Variable Rate Shading and Mesh Shading
