When you install a centos of minimal installation as a virtual /dual booting you don’t find that the os will not automatically enables you to PING. So, for this session lets see how to enable the connection ,So just following the given steps below you can actually enable the connection.

1) OPEN THE CENT-OS TERMINAL firstly CHECK IS THERE ANY INTERNET CONNECTION ENABLE, TYPE “ping google.com” ON THE TERMINAL.

2)IF YOU FIND AS ” PING: unknown host google.com“,THEN YOUR OS IS NOT ENABLED FOR INTERNET CONNECTION CONTINUE THE FOLLOWING STEPS .

3)TYPE THE COMMAND ” nmcli d” to check ANY ACTICE CONNECTION AS ETHERNET PORT OR WIFI WERE CONNECT TO SYSTEM

4)IF THERE ARE ANY ACTIVE CONNECTIONS YOU WILL FIND WITH THE DEVICE NAME “enp0s3” and its STATE TO BE “DISCONNECTED”.

5)NOW TYPE THE COMMAND “nmtui” and CLICK ENTER. YOU’LL FIND A NEW WINDOW TO BE OPENED .

6)YOU CAN MANAGE THE NETWORKMANAGER TUI CONSOLE USING ARROW UP AND DOWN BUTTONS. MAKE SURE THE CURSOR IS ON “ Edit a Connection” and hit “ENTER

7) AGAIN MAKE SURE THE CURSOR TO BE ON EDIT OPTION AND HIT ENTER .

8) MAKE THE CURSOR IS PLACED ON “Automatically Connect” and hit “SPACE BAR ” to enable the connections and click on “OK” , AND “QUIT” THE WINDOW .

9)AFTER THAT YOU’LL FIND THE TERMINAL ONCE AGAIN.

10)NOW TYPE “service network restart” on the console and hit “ENTER“. THEN, TYPE THE PASSWORD OF YOUR’S.

11)YOU’LL FIND THAT THE CONNECTION WAS SUCCESSFULLY CONNECTED.

12)YOU CAN ALSO TEST BY TYPING “ping google.com” YOU’LL SEE THAT THE DATA PACKETS WERE ACTUALLY TRANSIMITTED. ๐Ÿ™‚
